“Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen.”
When it comes to love, I believe in destiny. I believe that two people meet for a reason, no matter what that reason might be. But no matter what the reason, it was more than just fate.
It was destiny.
According to Dictionary.com, destiny is defined as “the predetermined, usually inevitable or irresistible, course of events.”
We are al destined to meet our soulmates. The coming together of two hearts requires an act both fate and destiny. Fate is the act of the two people coming together, but destiny is the reasoning behind the union. I believe we all have a significant other, but whether or not we ever come into contact with that person is in the hands of destiny.
On the other hand, destiny in your career is something that can be flawed. I believe that one must actively work to fulfill their dreams, and that you cannot just wait around for life to hand you opportunities. While opportunities might happen to fall in the laps of some, that is not the case for many, giving some respect to those who work for what they have.
You have to swallow up your fear and make things happen. You have to take a leap of faith and believe in yourself.
Destiny is for love, not careers.
